We have an interesting piece from former UK diplomat Ian Proud that is bucking the prevailing Western narrative on Georgia this morning, positing that the elections were less about the Manichean choice between light and dark (Europe and Russia) than it was about a pragmatic interest in Georgia's economy in the context of Europe and the EU.
